I was using my laptop with internet perfectly fine and stuff and then it went to the Limited Access and then to unidentified network with local . only. and the weird thing is the same network works fine in safe mode but not in normal mode.
Jul 11, 2017 · I also went into the Local Group Policy Editor > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Network List Manger and I changed the settings to make Unidentified Networks respond as private networks (this was an idea on other discussion boards). This did not change anything either. I also put my computer on the same vlan and ran a network scanner.
May 25, 2014 · Unidentified Network - No Network Access - Win7 64bit For some time now my internet would be fine for 1hour after booting up my computer and then the network would then fail to be recognized. I have followed multiple tutorials on the internet, with countless suggestions, where other people have had the same problem.

It connects to my network but it says "unidentified network with local access only. My first step was to get on the phone with AT &T tech support. They remotely accessed my laptop but were unsuccessful in fixing the problem. I was told its a problem with my laptop. For eg. if you are in the 192.168.1.x/24 network and have connected to the SonicWall via the GVC, and have obtained a virtual ip address 192.168.1.27/24, you will not be able to access the remote SonicWall network of 192.168.1.x/24.
